It is surrounded and immersed in gorgeous gardens and luscious forests. The rooms are private villas with a very modern design and quite big, with huge balconies and outdoors showers.
Very independent and very comfortable villas. We stayed in two of the rooms since we were staying with the children. They have a small kitchen and a little fridge. They don’t have any A/C but the architecture of the place allows a permanent breeze through the rooms.
Art is everywhere! In the bathrooms, the common areas, the terraces and the pools!
The restaurant has a magnificent view and the food is really good, as everywhere in Costa Rica, staff is really nice but service can be a bit slow. Worth the wait though!
Wi Fi is great in the lobby area but not in the rooms.
Swimming pool is really nice, and the trails, the rainforest and waterfalls are amazing! It has an amazing nursery with orchids and exotic plants and the bird watching is fantastic! Depending on the time of year, but if you travel between October and April the amount of birds can be overwhelming.
The spa is also amazing. I had an hour massage and it’s been one of the best that I’ve enjoyed!
It is an expensive hotel but you get what you pay for.
