Paz Waterfalls: This morning we’ll visit La Paz Waterfall Gardens. The full tour is 3 kilometers long. Each of the waterfalls are beautiful natural
works of art. Pathways take you to several viewing platforms where seating and umbrellas have been provided for your ultimate viewing pleasure.
- Butterfly Gardens: we visit the Butterfly observatory that is the largest in the world. The enclosed structure allows butterflies to soar freely
while guests walk amid the natural habitat. An on-site laboratory is a breeding ground for the countless fluttering species.

- Irazu Volcano and Orosi Valley: The Irazú Volcano, is an active volcano, situated in the Cordillera Central close to the city of Cartago.
The park that includes this volcano covers 5703 acres, its highest point being 3432 meters (approxim. 10,300 feet) above sea level and on a clear day is claimed
to be possible to see both the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans on a clear day; however, such clear days are very rare indeed, and it is typical for the volcano's summit
to be covered in cloud for much of the time.

- Jungle cruise from Matina to Tortuguero: Tortuguero means "The region of turtles" and indicates the significance of the area for
the endangered sea turtles. There are eight species of sea turtles in the world, six of them nest in Costa Rica and of those, four frequently visit the 36-kilometer
of protected beach in Tortuguero.The area is the most important breeding ground for the Green turtles in the Caribbean and there is no other place where those turtles
nest in so great numbers.

- Visit to Tortuguero National Park: The Tortuguero National Park is an exuberant, paradisiacal, mystical and natural network of scenic and navigable
waterways. One of the most exotic and beautiful region of Costa Rica, rich in flora and fauna. Tortuguero is one of the wilderness areas in Costa Rica, with the
greatest biological variety. 11 habitats had been identified, such as 2000 species of plants and 400 species of trees. There is also a very wide wildlife variety:
57 species of amphibians, 111 species of reptiles, 309 species of birds recorded, 30 species of fresh water fish, included the Gar, considered to be a living fossil
60 species of mammals.

- Arenal Volcano with
Hot Springs: Today we’ll start our day by visiting the Hanging Bridges of Arenal, that is a tourist project consisting of paths and
bridges built with a view to preserve the harmony between man-made structures and nature. It is located in the vicinity of Arenal Volcano. Later on we continue
our trip with the tour to Arenal Volcano and Hot Springs. The Conical Arenal Volcano is the only volcano in Costa Rica constantly active since it woke up after
400 years with the big 1968 eruption producing huge ash columns, explosions & glowing red lava almost every day.
The Arenal Volcano is constantly ejects gases,
water, fumaroles and explosions with pyroclastic material emissions, and sometimes the eruptions are accompanied with powerful thunders. At the hot springs our
customers can enjoy a healthy and relaxing soak, it is also possible to see the Arenal Volcano erupting from a comfortable spa.

Day 9
Palo Verde National Park: The Parque
Nacional of Palo Verde, 28 km south of Bagaces, protects 13,058 hectares (32253 acres!) of floodplain, marshes, limestone ridges, and
seasonal pools in the heart of the driest region of Costa Rica--the Tempisque basin, at the mouth of the Río Tempisque in the Gulf of Nicoya. The tidal
river rises and falls up to four meters and is navigable for about 36 km, as far as the confluence with the Río Bolsón.
- There are 15 different habitats
(including several types of swamp and marshland) and a corresponding diversity of fauna. Plump crocodiles wallow on the muddy riverbanks, salivating, no doubt,
at the sight of coatis, white-tailed deer, and other mammals come down to the water to drink. Palo Verde is best known as a bird-watchers' paradise.
