 In our opinion, the best way to see the country providing more flexible travel times, as well as a more pleasant adventure. Honestly, as Costa Rica is such a safe place for foreigners to travel,
it is refreshing to be able to drive through a country and feel so comfortable.
Cars are available for pick up and drop off in San José, Tamarindo, Liberia, Jaco and Manuel Antonio. In certain
circumstances, the vehicle can be delivered directly to your hotel, or at the airport (for an additional cost). To get a better idea of the available vehicles and their prices, please see the
following chart which lists the prices, the relative insurance package, additional insurance as well as the seasons. If you are interested in a vehicle that you do not see listed, please contact

Yes, you can pick up the vehicle at any of the agencies countrywide locations, and drop them off at any of the others. Depending on the drop off location, a small surcharge may apply. |

Both automatic and manual transmission are available, however, it will depend on availability and the model as not all models are available with this option. |
