Playa Conchal

Take a short drive south to Playa Conchal for a look at the relaxing waters and white sand/shell beach of Conchal.

There are some incredible tours that operate out of Conchal and Flamingo, including sportfishing, surfing, diving, and sailing on the Maratonga.

Restaurant Estero Azul

Restaurant Estero Azul is located near Flamingo on your way to Potrero. Before you turn right at the beach at Restaurant Plemar keep on going straight all way to the back of the road (about 100m). You'll find a fisherman's house with a small eating place next to the beach. Here they'll serve you the catch of the day without paying Flamingo prices.

Monkey Bar

The restaurant at the Flamingo Marina Resort serves beautiful and substantial tican (Costa Rican) and gringo (American) dishes. And the bartender makes a mean margarita."

Stella II

Stella II is one of the only, and certainly the best, oriental and International gourmet restaurants in Flamingo and the surrounding areas. Located near the north end of the beach, offering a variety of local dishes specializing in fresh seafood. Here you will find such choices as: Whole Snapper, Mahi Mahi, Jumbo Shrimp, Lobster, Tenderloin, just to name a few delectable selections.

Soda-Restaurante Pleamar:

Fresh fish served right on the beach under thatched umbrellas. Very affordable and offering everything from burgers, casados to fresh fish. Open daily 10 am - 10 pm, M 10am - 5 pm. in low - season.

Marie´s

This is the best restaurant in town. Friendly waiters and good-size hot and cold appetizers. Varied menu and very affordable open for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Places to Avoid

Watch out for the casinos if you don’t want to end up washing dishes at your hotel.
