In order to reach Drake Bay, visitors must fly into nearby Palmar Sur and then continue on a 21 mile boat ride through the mangrove forest and 4 miles on the open Pacific before arriving at your hotel.

Local activities include world class sportfishing, surfing, diving, and guided trips in to Corcovado National Park. Due to the remote location of Drake Bay and the lack of local services, all hotels include 3 meals/day and are geared towards high end travelers.
